Ms. Strouse graduated in 2003 from Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Managerial Economics and Business Administration, with concentration in Finance and International Business. After graduating, Ms. Strouse began her professional career with M&T Bank in the Sales Development Program. After one year on the retail banking side, Ms. Strouse began her real estate career in July 2004 with M&T Bank in Williamsport, Pennsylvania as an internal commercial real estate appraiser. She completed numerous assignments for bank financing purposes with properties appraised including industrial facilities, retail facilities, office buildings, apartment complexes, and various mixed use buildings. Ms. Strouse is currently a general associate member of the Appraisal Institute and became licensed as a Certified General Appraiser in Pennsylvania in September 2008. She is currently pursuing the MAI designation through the Master of Science in Real Estate program at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
