Mr. Mignogna graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music. He began his appraisal career in 1986 as a residential appraiser in central New Jersey, joining Legg Mason Realty Group in Philadelphia in 1987 as a commercial appraiser. At Legg Mason, much of his focus was on residential development property appraisals, lodging facilities, and complex multi-tenanted investment properties. After receiving the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute in 1993, Mr. Mignogna took the position of Regional Manager with Ratcliffe, Cali, Duffy, Hughes (RCDH) & Company in Philadelphia. During this time, he completed numerous Center City Philadelphia office building appraisals while managing the Philadelphia office. In 1996, Mr. Mignogna joined Carduner & Sockler Realty Advisors in East Windsor, NJ as Vice President, and the firm name was later changed to Carduner Sockler & Mignogna Realty Advisors. In 2001 he co-founded Sockler Mignogna DiLello Realty Group in Ewing, NJ. In 2004 Mr. Mignogna assumed sole ownership of the newly created Sockler Mignogna DiLello Realty Group Pennsylvania in Wayne, PA. There he was the company President until 2006, when the company merged operations with Mid-Atlantic Appraisals to form Mid-Atlantic Valuation Group, Inc. Mr. Mignogna is licensed as a Certified General Appraiser
in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. He has provided expert
witness testimony at tax assessment appeal hearings throughout Philadelphia
and in New Jersey. He has also given expert witness testimony to the
Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas (Lebanon County), the U.S. Bankruptcy
Court (Delaware District), and in New Jersey, to the Monroe Township Zoning
Board and the South Brunswick Township Planning Board. Mr. Mignogna has served on and chaired Review &
Counseling and Experience Review committees for the Appraisal Institute, in
addition to volunteering as a national experience screener. From 2007 to 2009
he served on the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Metro Chapter of the
Appraisal Institute, and holds the Executive Board position of Secretary for
2010. He has also performed as music director, conductor, and/or pianist in
numerous musical theater productions at Villanova University and the
